		<description><![CDATA[To be honest, I thought Avatar was moving, visually stunning, and took us on an amazing adventure into a whole new world. It definitely re-defined the way movies are made. However, I&#039;ve not actually watched The Hurt Locker because the war genre isn&#039;t very appealing to me. I can&#039;t make a substantial argument without having seen both films though. 

The entry was more about celebrating the first female winner for &#039;Best Director&#039;, especially because it&#039;s a hugely male-dominated industry. I realize I should have elaborated more on that.
